Deloraine are five musicians, whoplayfantasy, pagan, irish andmedievalmusic.Fromtheirbeginningin 2017 Deloraine play famous fantasy and game OST ́s, medieval melodies,famous folk songs (for example soundtrack from Witcher 3, Game of Thrones,Tolkienmovies, coversof Blackmore ́s Night songs and many more). In playing covers, Deloraine just don ́t overplay originalsongs, they always put theirown spirit and feeling into the songs andtheir arrangements.Deloraine are huge fans of the world of the Witcher, so it ́s not surprise that their first albumiscalledVlaštovka („TheSwallow“) has all songs inspired by stories and characters from Witcher saga(Yennefer, Triss, Ciri etc.). Vlaštovka has been released inApril 2018 with nine author songs andfivecovers and it ́s great review throughout all genres. All songs on the album are performed inCzechlanguage, but alsoEnglish versions are prepared to be performed live for foreign gigs.Life performances of Deloraine are very passionate and full ofemotions.Due to multintrumentalismof the whole bandDeloraine canadmirablychange sound and feeling between every songs (you canhear guitar, bouzouki,mandolin, violin, viola, various drums, bass guitar, piano and about 8 types ofclassical and ethnicflutes). All those instruments are used during the show,sometimes one musicianplays two instruments at the same time. Main vocal is performed bycharismaticsinger Lori and allother band members sing back vocals, so Deloraine are able to makereally„huge“ sound.Deloraine are able to play short festival set, but also can play whole evening show which lasts about3 hours (without breaks). Theirrepertoireis full of energic dance songs but also of romantic acousticsongs. Deloraine could be greatcomponentof festival program and canalsoperform on club eventand many moreoccasions

Wisst ihr was neben Metal, Mittelalter und Folk Musik mich so am meisten Interessiert? Videospiele, besser gesagt Fantasy Videospiele und Deloraine ist da genau richtig! Ihre Musik die sie als “Pagan Fantasy Folk” oder so ähnlich bezeichnen dreht sich um die Geschichten aus ua. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim oder auch The Witcher. Beides sind Spiele in die ich viele Hundert Stunden investiert habe und trotzdem begeistert es mich immer noch. Die Musik wirkt so authentisch und passend, verpasst mir immer wieder eine Gänsehaut, auch wenn ich ihrer Muttersprache (Tschechisch) nicht mächtig bin.

Band der Woche, unter diesem Titel stellen wir euch jede Woche Dienstag Abend, 20 Uhr eine Band vor. Dies sind jeweils Bands, die von Mitgliedern unserer Redaktion empfohlen werden, vor allem junge Nachwuchsbands, die unserer Meinung nach mehr Aufmerksamkeit verdient haben.
